Ehsaas Kafaalat for Special Persons Policy 2022 Details
For special persons, the Ehsaas Kafaalat Policy is being expanded. The 7 million families who are currently eligible for Ehsaas Kafaalat fall below the 29th percentile of poverty.
This criterion has been raised to 37 for households with at least one special person under the new “Ehsaas Kafaalat for Special Persons Policy.” Ehsaas Kafaalat cash will now be available to these households. Ehsaas Kafaalat for Special Persons Policy is expected to assist 2 million families with at least one special member.
The database of NADRA will be used to verify special people. Only those who have been identified as “special persons” in NADRA’s database will be recognized eligible.
Ehsaas asks that families register their family members’ special person status with NADRA as soon as possible so that they can be considered for the benefit.
A monthly stipend of Rs. 2000 would be given to each family with a special member. Each family will only receive one benefit.
Payment will be done through the Kafaalat payment system. Payment to amputees will be made according to the payment standards adopted under Ehsaas Kafaalat because payment is biometric based.
