HBL Roshan Digital Account Overview
Overseas Pakistanis can open an account with HBL via the eBanc Roshan Digital Account, which allows them to do so from the comfort of their own homes.
Customers can open an eBanc Roshan Digital Account to channel remittances into securities via CDC, government bonds, real estate investments, and other legitimate reasons permitted by the State Bank of Pakistan.
Features Of HBL Roshan Digital Account
The important features of the eBanc Roshan Digital Account are the following:
- There is no requirement for a minimum balance.
- Customers can open either a Foreign Currency Value Account (USD, GBP, EUR, SAR, AED, CAD, and CNY) or an NRP Rupee Value Account*.
- Foreign Inward Remittances from Banks and Exchange Companies are the sole sources of funds that can be used to fund accounts.
- Only Joint Accounts are offered to Non-Resident Pakistanis.
- Foreign remittances are the only way to finance accounts.
- It is not possible to use local credits. Credits are allowed up to the amount of money obtained from the account’s permissible investments.
- If everything is in order, the account will open in 48 hours.
- Debit cards and mobile banking apps are both available.
- There is also an Islamic Banking option.
Incoming remittances are not charged by HBL. However, there may be fees imposed by the correspondent bank. Please recheck.
How To Apply For eBanc Roshan Digital Account
To open an HBL Roshan Digital account, follow the below steps.
- Customers can use their Online Digital Form to submit their information. To access and submit the same, please click here.
- If you require assistance at any point during the account opening procedure, you can contact them using the LIVE chat function or send an email to [email protected], and a bank representative will contact you within two working days to assist you.
Customers will be notified through email or video/recorded call if there is a discrepancy in the papers and will be required to supply the missing/extra or modified documents.
Documents Required For The Opening Of HBL Roshan Digital Account
Please note that you will need to submit the following documents along with your Account Opening Form.
- Scanned CNIC/ NICOP/ POC
- Scanned copy of original Passport (first 2 pages) (Pakistani and/or other passports)
- Proof of NRP status (e.g. scanned copy of visa, entry/ exit stamps, etc.)
- Proof of Profession and Source of Income/Funds (e.g. scanned copy of job card/work ID, tax return, rent agreement, salary slips, etc.)
- For salaried individuals: job certificate/salary slips (any one document)
- For business persons: tax return/rent agreement / any other proof of income (any one document)
