How to Make/Apply Domicile Certificate Online In 2024

The online Domicile Certificate facility is available only for ICT, KPK, and Punjab. Every province has its style portal to apply for Domicile. But all outlets have pretty much the same procedure.

Before Applying domicile certificate, there are some important notes that you have to memorize. Then, you have to face some physical procedure for it. Likewise, Attesting documents, you have to pay a Bank challan in the National Bank of Punjab.

For Punjab, you have to signup for e-Khidmat Markaz Online Portal

e-Khidmat Markaz has many services for citizens of Pakistan, but here I am only covering the Online Domicile procedure.

Requaired Documents for Domicile Certificate

  1. Form P and P1, duly Filled and Signed by the applicant.
  2. Affidavit (Rs. 50), duly filled and signed by the applicant, verified by Oath Commissioner (Optional).
  3. Paid Challan form (Rs. 200) of National Bank of Pakistan.
  4. 3 Photographs, passport size with white back ground.
  5. Copy of Applicant’s CNIC or B-Form (Must be at least one year old from the date of receipt of application).
  6. If (Applicant’s CNIC or B-Form) is not available then copy of Applicant’s Father CNIC or Applicant’s Mother CNIC or Applicant’s Spouse CNIC is required.
  7. AC Verification Form may or may not be attested.
  8. At least one of the following documents is required (Must be at least one year old at the time of submission of application).
  • Property Documents ( Fard or Ownership papers or registry of house etc).
  • Utility Bills ( Electricity or Gas or Landline Bills).
  • Resident Certificate (Rental Agreement).
  • Education Document (Matriculation / above certificate or School certificate).
  • Voter List (of UC where vote is registered).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR Applying For DOMICILE CERTIFICATE

  • Service Fee: You have to pay 200.00 Rs only as service charges.
  • Delivery Time: Your certificate will be delivered within 16 working days.
  • Issuance Authority: This service will issue by your Relevant AC.
  • Fee Payment Mode: Payment should be Cash & in Pakistan Rupees (PKR).
  • Designated Bank: National Bank of Pakistan (Adjacent to e-Khidmat Markaz).
  • Center Timing: e-Khidmat Markaz will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Service Timing: Monday to Saturday: 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
  • Working Days: e-Khidmat Markaz will be open Monday to Saturday.
  • Lunch Break: No Break.
  • Jummah Break: e-Khidmat Markaz will be closed during 12:30 pm to 02:30 pm on Friday.
  • Citizen will receive system generated SMS at the time:
    • When Service application is received.
    • When citizens application for Service is dispatched.
    • On receipt of the application.
    • When application for Service is completed / rejected.
    • When Service is delivered to the citizen.

DOMICILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PITB has developed a fully automated system for generating and managing domiciles – an important identity document for Pakistani citizens showing their region of birth.

The online monitoring system for Domicile Management System was developed and has been operational since June 2007 (http://domicile.punjab.gov.pk).

The queue management system enables the transparent and quick delivery of computerized domiciles. The system also provides a mechanism to check for duplicate issuance. It has been implemented in 34 districts. The number of domiciles in record stand at 3,947,714, and those verified using the system are 597,656.
