The Nadra Family Registration Certificate (FRC) is a way to link your NADRA record to your family. This determines the make-up of the family. Please keep in mind that while the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) is useful for embassy purposes, it cannot be used for any legal purposes.

Applying For FRC Based on the Parents and Siblings (By Birth)
If you want to apply based on your parents and siblings, you’ll need the following information/documents:
- CRC/CNIC/NICOP/POC of siblings and parents’ 13-digit ID number
- Names should be spelled correctly according to the records.
- Photographs of all family members under the age of 18 as well as the applicant are necessary.
- Family members who are not registered in NADRA or who have inadequate information (such as their parents’ names and ID card numbers) will not be linked to other family members and so will not appear in the FRC. Such family members must change the numbers on their ID cards to match the numbers on their parents’ ID cards.
- If a family member has a POC, that person will apply for FRC and include other family members as relatives.
- After you have successfully submitted your FRC application, you will receive your FRC in the form of a PDF document in your email within 1-2 working days.
- Only English name spellings can be corrected if necessary. Any change in a family member’s name is not permitted.

Applying on the Basis of Spouse and Children (By Marriage)
If you want to apply based on your spouse and children, you’ll need the following information/documents:
- 13-digit number Spouse and children’s CRC/CNIC/NICOP/POC number

Applying For FRC ( By Adoption )
– The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your guardian.
In case the child is adopted and the presence of a child is necessary,
- You will be issued a token
- Photograph of minors shall be taken
- The photograph of the adopted children will be taken (As per adoption rules the child needs to be less than 21 years of age)
- Your data will be entered and reviewed by yourself
- Your required FRC will be printed and handed over
