“The COVID-19 Immunisation Certificate Issuance Platform has been launched across the country today,” the minister said on Twitter.

According to Asad Umar, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms, the government has opened an online registry for all citizens who have completed their covid-19 vaccination process.

Citizens who have completed both doses of their vaccines can now download their COVID Immunisation Certificate from https://nims.nadra.gov.pk or pick it up at NADRA Mega Centres.

The certificate recipient must also pay a deposit of PKR100, which will act as written proof that the COVID-19 immunization certificate holder has obtained vaccinations.
Sinopharm, a Chinese-gifted covid-19 vaccine, is now being provided to Pakistani healthcare workers and senior citizens.

The government will begin the registration process for all people over 50 who wish to receive vaccinations on March 30.

Like the British version of Covid-19 rages across the subcontinent, Asad Umar warned on Saturday that the country might soon surpass the height seen in the first round due to continued violations of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a slow rate of vaccination.
